The Premium Deluxe Signoria View rooms underwent a complete restyling in the winter of 2024.
They are the result of the vision and study of the Owners and in particular of Mrs. Antonella Fratini, who personally took care of the furnishings and the colours of these rooms located on the 5th and last floor of the Hotel Balestri.
They are spacious and bright rooms, characterised by marvellous round windows that frame the major monuments of Florence, such as the Cathedral Dome or the Palazzo Vecchio. It was light that guided the choice of design: to achieve functional spaces of great chromatic and sensorial comfort.
The main material is walnut wood, cleaned of decoration and combined with natural fibres such as cotton and jute. There are few touches of colour, such as coral and emerald green used for the headboards of the beds and matching seating.
The owner's passion for the local traditions is still reflected in the fact that she entrusts the supply of fabrics to the ancient Tessitura di Rovezzano. These very fabrics furnished her family's homes during her childhood.
Tessitura di Rovezzano is a Florentine company founded in 1946, which continues to hand down the ancient art of producing fine fabrics using artisan looms. It is renowned for the exclusive use of natural yarns, original designs and high quality of the final product.
All furnishings are handcrafted with inspiration from the 1950s.
The rooms boast white beamed ceilings, light oak parquet floors and Tuscan Calacatta marble bathrooms with bathtubs or walk-in showers.
